Description: Please join IBG Inc. on Saturday, 14 November 2009 at the Beverly Wilshire hotel in Beverly Hills, CA, for an afternoon to celebrate “The X-Files” series and films, while raising funds for a number of worthy charities. The event will feature a moderated Q&A panel with in person appearances by Chris Carter, Frank Spotnitz, Rob Bowman, Gillian Anderson and Mitch Pileggi*.
A limited number of VIP tickets remain available for $125 and can be purchased here: http://www.ibginc.org/tickets. VIP tickets to the event grant the holder front section seating, in-person autograph with participating panelists (to date: Chris Carter, Frank Spotnitz, Rob Bowman, Gillian Anderson and Mitch Pileggi) and admission to the VIP party (please note that panelists are invited, but not expected to attend the VIP party).
General seating tickets for the Q&A are also now available at http://www.ibginc.org/tickets.
Have you always wanted to meet actress Gillian Anderson, bond with Mitch Pileggi, get the XF (or Castle) scoop from Rob, or talk writing and producing with Frank Spotnitz and/or Chris Carter? “Meet and Greets” (which will be held directly prior to the event) will be auctioned on eBay throughout October. Check the tickets page for the latest bidding links: http://www.ibginc.org/tickets.
The IBG website has all your information on ticket availability, event schedule, participating charities and venue details: http://www.ibginc.org/FAQ
Founded in late 2008, IBG established an official non-profit campaign focusing on utilizing the power of philanthropy through the arts to benefit a wide range of charities worldwide. IBG acts as a “fundraiser facilitator” for underfunded and start-up charities that would otherwise struggle with the logistics and costs associated with event fundraising.

Description: Stars Ball 2009 is a blacktie optional gala modeled after the Oscars. Instead of actors receiving the praise and excitement, they are replaced with people much more important the children in the Philadelphia region battling cancer and other terminal diseases. For one night, these children escape the cruel reality of needles, treatments and medicine into a world of fantasywhere they are the star!
The girls receive formal dresses and get professional hair and makeup while the boys are fitted for black tuxes. They are picked up in a stretch limo and brought to the Please Touch Museum to walk the red carpet lined with adults waiting to get a picture and autograph of their favorite little stars. This night is meant to make them feel special and to feel like a star.
About Little Smiles Little Smiles is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization that provides toys, computers, special events and celebrity meetings for children in local hospitals, hospices and shelters. The majority of the children receiving our efforts are seriously or terminally ill. Our mission is to help kids escape, at least for a little while, from their treatment rooms into a land of fantasy. We respond to the needs of the children directly through the nurses that care for them and provide whatever it takes to make their world a better place.
