The Bachelor of Fine Arts Exhibition is a showcase for recent work created by the graduating seniors of the University of Texas - Arlington's Department of Art and Art History. The Fall 2009 exhibition features the work of 41 students demonstrating a wide variety of concentrations including painting, drawing, sculpture, ceramics, glass, printmaking, video, visual communication. photography and digital imaging.
Gallery hours are Monday through Friday, 10 am - 5 pm and Saturdays, 12 noon to 5 pm.
Exhibition dates are November 30-December 12.

The National Grace Unity Conference is a three day event. It begins at 6:30 pm Dec 11, 2009 and wraps up at noon on Dec 13. This is a "pay your own way" type of conference. Rooms at the hotel are $75.00 per night. IMPORTANT: Please let the organizers know right away if you can make it so they can reserve a room for you. They just need a HEAD COUNT so they can RESERVE ENOUGH ROOMS. You don't need to make a reservation at the hotel at this time. (The hotel requires a head count before the organizers can sign a contract with them. Contact the organizers with your head count at: kingjames1611@cox.net or 225-664-5739. TO MAKE YOUR RESERVATION WITH THE HOTEL: After you have given the organizers your head count, you can call the hotel any time AFTER MAY 1, 2009 to make your reservation. You will need to tell the hotel staff you are with the Grace Unity Conference (so you'll get the group rate of $75 per night). CONTACT THE HOTEL AT: 1-866-253-2183.
