HIKE STATS: Meeting Time: 8:45 AM Hike Distance: up to 6 miles Estimated Hike Time: 3 hours Difficulty: Moderate (Easy if you shorten your hike) Trip Leader: Tanr Cost: $4 admission Dogs? Yes, if leashed FWNC entrance fee is $4. Be sure to pick up a trail map at the gatehouse so you can find the Greer Island parking area. While TexasÂÂ' uniquely confounding alcohol laws prohibit the sale of beer at the brewery, they will sell you a nice souvenir pint glass for $5 and fill it three times for free with whatever beer you want to sample. They usually have live music and they serve barbecue.
