Description: Its Christmas cheers once again as the Sharity Gift Box project returns to bring festive joy to the less privileged!
Now in its 22nd year, this initiative hopes to unite Singaporeans to come together in the spirit of giving and sharing – going beyond monetary donations. The initiative also hopes to allow givers to come away with the joy of giving and sharing by getting everyone involved in the process of selecting, purchasing and even gift-wrapping the presents.
Those who wish to do their part can donate daily household items and groceries; and/or fulfill a specific wish of a child, elderly or family and bring joy to their lives.
So Have a Heart, Share a Gift! |

NAPLES – The Board of Directors of the Bayshore Cultural and Performing Arts Center (CAPA) has joined forces with Pollo Tropical® to help raise funds for the construction of a new performing arts center in the Naples area. On Sunday, December 6, CAPA, will host a Benefit Night at the Pollo Tropical located at 3777 East Tamiami Trail from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Twenty percent of sales generated from CAPA’s guests will be donated to the organization's mission to create a Naples performing arts venue.
CAPA’s mission is to create a state-of-the-art cultural and performing arts center that will showcase local visual and performing talent. It will also provide cultural, performance and educational opportunities for the community. The CAPA Board includes members from Naples Concert Band, Naples Opera Society, The Bach Ensemble, Naples Orchestra and Chorus, Naples Music Club, Classic Chamber Series and more.
Pollo Tropical started hosting regular Benefit Nights in August of 2008, to help nonprofit organizations such as the YMCA, Girl Scouts, Boys and Girls Clubs, local schools and Parent Teacher Associations raise money for special projects.
For more information or to nominate your charity for a Pollo Tropical® Benefit Night, visit www.pollotropical.com.
HOW IT WORKS
The first step is to visit www.pollotropical.com and complete and submit a Benefit Night request form found under the Community tab. Once a Benefit Night is approved, Pollo Tropical will identify a restaurant location that is conveniently located for the organization to host the Benefit Night. The organization is then responsible for distributing Pollo Tropical guest vouchers for the event to the supporters—voucher layouts are provided by Pollo Tropical. After the Benefit Night is completed, Pollo Tropical donates to the organization 20 percent of that store’s sales generated by the guests of the Benefit Night.
About Pollo Tropical®
Born in a Caribbean kitchen with a Latin accent in the melting pot of Miami, Pollo Tropical's signature citrus marinated, tropical-spiced grilled chicken (Pollo in Spanish) created its namesake. People came from all over just to get a taste of the Pollo. Today, that same recipe is being grilled fresh and served fast to about 20 million loyal Pollo Tropical fans at more than 100 Pollo Tropical restaurants. There’s no mistaking the taste, the freshness and the flavor of Pollo Tropical.
For more information on Pollo Tropical®, including menu items and nutritional information, visit online at www.pollotropical.com.
