Location: Putnam County Court House Cost: $20 The Turkey Trot 5k will start at 8am with a walk beginning at 8:15am. You can sign up at the Putnam County Parks and Recreations Department before the race or sign up at the event.

Course Description:

You will start in front of the historic Putnam County Court House then run through the historic downtown district. Make your way to the bridge while taking in the sites of the beautiful river front. Then you will cross the bridge and head down to statue. This is where the race gets tough, you have to dig down deep and find that extra gear to make a u-turn and propel yourself up and over the bridge again. When you get to the bottom start that sprint to the finish line!

The Mutt Strut is a fun and family friendly event for dog lovers to walk in Chattanooga's two largest Christmas parades in one day! The afternoon parade opens registration from 9:00-10:30 at the Chattanooga Choo Choo. We will strut to the parade site on Rossville Ave at 10:30 and walk in the Mainx24 parade at 11:00. Photos with Santa after the parade. The evening parade opens registration at the Choo Choo again from 4:00-5:30 when we will strut to the parade site on Market Street and walk in the Starlight parade at 6:00. Cost is $15 which includes a DoGood Chattanooga t-shirt. All proceeds benefit DoGood Chattanooga, a volunteer organization that works with the city to make downtown parks and public spaces more accessible to dogs.
