It’s a pleasure for us to invite you to our 12th Annual Event ”THE CALLE OCHO LA CHRISTMAS FESTIVAL 2009”, having EDGAR N. PALACIOS as the founder. This event proudly brings help and happiness to the families in our community, especially children with special needs and attention. This is a Christmas event; therefore we will give out more than 45,000 toys as Christmas gifts to all the children with the help of our sponsors. This year the event will take place on the 5th and 6th of December 2009, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Our Mission begins with celebrating Latino and Korean Tradition, culture & heritage in Los Angeles and one of the most important TOY DRIVE events in the city of Los Angeles. The Annual Festival Navideno means Christmas on 8th St. Calle Ocho…Spanish for 8th Street, it is the largest celebration of the Latino and Korean culture in Los Angeles. We have combined two great celebrations; Christmas and Calle Ocho, to bring to you the Festival Navideno en La Calle Ocho, Los Angeles! This large Street party is filled with musical stages, carnival, entertainment, food vendors, and most of all toys for the children. This event will be broadcast by all major television networks, radio stations and it will be documented by international magazines and publications. Attendance for this event will be over 100,000 thousand people and is growing every year. Enjoy various Latino and Korean musical performers, traditional dances, carnival rides and many ethnic dishes. Also, the appearance of L.A. Mayor Villarraigosa and Santa Clause with many gifts for the Children. Sponsors and companies can reach thousands of people at this event. A great way to IMPACT the ever-growing Latino and Korean Market Place! This year, “The 12th Annual Festival Navideno En La Calle Ocho, Los Angeles” is an event that has only one sole purpose, which is to provide as many toys and smiles to as many children as possible during the holidays. There are many festivals in Los Angeles that are great providers of entertainment, but very few provide both, great entertainment and great need for the community, especially at times like Christmas. Our goal is to provide free toys to over 45,000 children. Last year we distributed approximately 35,000 toys. We have committed ourselves this year to surpass last year’s number of toy giveaways and to make this event a truly remarkable Christmas Festival. |

There are 3 types of tickets
1) The R90 ticket: Which include FREE entry to the event, a crayfish of your choice and a glass of wine or juice or cold drink.
This ticket needs to be paid and booked well in advanced - There are no R90 tickets at the venue or at the gate!!!
2) The R20 ticket for Adults: Which only allows you Entry to the event - this can be purchased at the gate /entrance.
No Free crayfish or wine
3) The R10 ticket for Kids: Which only allows you Entry to the event - this can be purchased at the gate /entrance.
No Free crayfish or juice / cold drink
