Bring the kids for 6th Annual Breakfast with Santa at Hard Rock Cafe! On Saturday, December 12, your child will get to meet Santa and will receive a goodie bag to take home with them. We'll have an activity table for the kids, as well. Pictures with Santa will be available, so don't forget your camera! Breakfast with Santa is from 9 - 10:45 AM Breakfast buffet includes scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns, French toast, assorted cereals, assorted breads & muffins, fresh fruit, orange juice, milk and coffee. Book your reservation before Thanksgiving and receive the discounted rate of $11.95 per person (includes tax). After Thanksgiving, the cost is $13.95 per person (includes tax). Kids 2 and under are FREE! Reservations are required. Call 502.568.2202. Free parking is available in the Galleria Garage on 5th Street.

A Socrates Cafe is simply people getting together to ask philosophical questions with the purpose of (maybe) getting a better understanding of the topic, philosophical inquiry, and realizing our own preconceptions. The discussion begins by people proposing questions to discuss; we vote on which question to use and then simply talk about it. Some possible questions include: "what is evil", "what's the state of the American Dream", and "What are the limits to religious freedom". Participating in a Socrates Cafe is a great way to sharpen your intellect, get a better understanding of your own beliefs, and learn more about how other people think. Discussions are typically spirited but respectful of one another's points of view. Keep in mind that while everyone is entitled to his or her opinion, some opinions are better than others. Meetings are held on Monday nights from 7:00 to 9:00 at the Java Brewing Company at 2309 Frankfort Avenue, Louisville. The weather is beautiful and we're taking the fitness outdoors! You will absolutely love exercising at these two beautiful new locations that are truly hidden treasures! We invite you to enjoy the beauty of nature, nurture your spirit, indulge all your senses, breathe in the fresh air, become enveloped by the gently filtered sunlight through the trees, and listen to the soothing sounds of birds. We hope you'll join us on Wednesdays at the gardens of Whitehall, and/or Saturdays at Brown Park throughout the summer. Feel free to drop in when you can, bring a friend, a yoga mat, and water. pure fit is a technique designed to develop a toned, lean, strong, flexible body and improve your overall well-being. The class is a consistent flow of energizing Pilates and yoga poses, combined with intense core training, all-over body conditioning, and stretching to relax and elongate muscles, restore energy, and produce a state of inner calm, balance and peaceful bliss. Each class is set to a mix of great, uplifting music, including a variety of world beats, reggae, R&B, pop, and blues, as well as relaxing instrumentals.
