Description: Terese Genecco is a New York City MAC and Bistro Award-winner and has quickly become an audience and critic's favorite. She has recently been hailed as the “love child” of Dean Martin and Judy Garland by the San Francisco Examiner. Vocalist/Bandleader/Comedian Genecco and her 8-piece band of top-flight New York City jazz musicians put on a high-energy show reminiscent of the Rat Pack and Louis Prima/Keely Smith era in Las Vegas. Time Out New York Magazine calls Genecco's shows 'Frisky, retro fun!' and has named them to their Top Ten Best lists and hailed them as 'critics picks' two years running.
SPECIAL GUEST STAR on 10/27 is Emmy-Award Winning Actress, Producer, Writer, and Stand-Up Comedian JUDY GOLD!
Terese Genecco is the recent recipient of the 2009 MAC Award for Outstanding Female Vocalist and a 2008 MAC Award for Best Recording for her live CD: “Drunk With Love: A Tribute To Frances Faye!” (released on the independent BUG:OUT:MUSIC label in April of 2007.) Since the huge success of both “Drunk With Love” and “Drunk With Love:The Sequel,” Genecco’s rollicking, retro Vegas-style performances have been wowing audiences and critics alike in San Francisco (where she is the reigning “Entertainer of the Year!” five years running and performs regularly at the nightclub hotspot The Rrazz Room in the Hotel Nikko,) at Hollywood’s old-school supper club, the M Bar, at The Peppermill Casino and Hotel in Reno, and as a recurring headliner at The Metropolitan Room and The Iridium Jazz Club in NYC where she has returned for recent sold-out engagements that attract all ages, old and new fans, fellow jazz musicians, and celebrity entertainers.
Don't miss Terese Genecco, one of the jazz and nightclub world’s rising stars! Scheduled performances are the last Tuesday of every month.
