Come join us at Leo Carrillo Ranch for a fall celebration and experience the taste and feel of the Wild West. Enjoy a wide variety of entertainment, shop for arts and crafts at the outdoor market, and bring your appetite for some good ole county western cookin'. We will have craft activities for the kids, a Fun Zone, live entertainment and Chili. Admission is FREE and activity cards can be purchased for $5 (includes unlimited fun zone, 2 crafts and 2 tastes of chili plus a bowl of house chili) or chili tasting cards can be purchased for $3 (which gives you 4 tastes of chili from the chili cook-off and a bowl of house chili). Chili Cook-off tastings start promptly at 11:30 a.m. Parking will be at Carrillo Elementary with complimentary shuttle service to the park.

Rallymaster: Jerry White This rally will be a brisk one and will end with awards being presented around 1:00 AM Sunday morning. The rally will be in the tradition of CCSCC's all night Nocturnal Diffusion rally series from many years back. It will be run entirely in the dark so plan accordingly. There will be gravel roads and, depending on the weather, it is possible that there might even be a ford or two. There will be one short gas stop and rest break somewhere in the middle. Registration Info The entry fee will be $20.00 per team. We recommend that you register close to the time registration opens. This will give you time to do the paperwork including certifying that your vehicle's/driver's insurance meets the appropriate state's standards, that the driver has a valid license, that your rally vehicle is being used with the permission of the owner, is in safe operating condition, is on the road legally, and that all its operational items such as lights, turn signals, brakes, horn, tires, mirrors, seat belts, windshield wipers and windshield washer are in proper working order. It will also give you time to read the rally's general rules and to talk to other rally participants. This last is especially important if you've never run a rally before. Don't Have a Driver or Navigator? If you don't have a partner to drive or navigate for you just come by yourself. At almost every rally there are folks who come alone then team up with someone else to run the event. If you are lucky you'll have a chance to team up with someone who has some rally experience. Sometimes that increases your chances of winning a trophy. If you're only slightly less lucky you'll get to run with someone who has no rally experience and have twice the fun as you discover what rallying is all about. At the very worst (which almost never happens) there will be no one to partner with and you will get the chance to work some of the checkpoints and see how everyone is doing as the event progresses. Champaign County Sports Car Club Autocross course on concrete surface. The location is in front of a large old hanger and features a concrete surface that is 1100 feet long and almost 450 feet wide and doesn't have any light poles. Courses typically are 50 to 60 seconds long. Registration opens at 8:30 AM and closes at 10:00 AM. Preregistration available on our WEB site: www.ccsportscarclub.org. Drivers meeting at 10:30 AM and runs begin at 11:00. Ending time depends upon number of cars but averages 3:30 PM and fun runs available if time allows. Be sure and bring plenty of water and lunch as there is no food available at the site. Fee schedule: $30 for general public, $25 students, $20 for CCSCC, HISCC and SCCA members. If you run both days, the second day is $10 for anyone. Rantoul Aviation Center is the former Chanute Air Force base. Rantoul is located 18 miles north of Champaign & Urbana Illinois. From I-57 exit number 250, US highway 136 and go east to US highway 45. Turn south on US 45 and go straight south when US 45 turns and road becomes S. Century Blvd. Take that south to Borman Dr. (4 way stop sign) and turn left on Borman. Go two blocks to Y in road and take the right side of the Y. Go to the second stop sign then turn left in to the parking lot in front of the AT&T building. We are at the north end of the lot across the fence in front of the large hanger. From I-74 take the US 45 exit (Cunningham Ave) and go north for 18 miles. When you hit the third stop light as you get into Rantoul, turn right on to Borman Dr. and go east to Y and take right branch. At second stop sign turn left into the lot in front of the AT&T building and go north to end of the lot. We are at the north end of the lot across the fence in front of the large hanger.
